The Financial Inclusion Equity Council is the first membership organization to bring together the leading private entities that make equity investments in financial inclusion throughout the developing world.
Meetings
The Council’s members represent a wide variety of investment strategies and geographic locations. The FIEC serves as a forum for discussion for these members – through both in-person meetings and ongoing working groups – in order to facilitate learning, sharing and exchange about the future path of the sector.
Projects
FIEC leads and participates in highly topical, forwarding-looking research initiatives, as well as special and ongoing projects. Past projects have addressed governance, industry risks and valuation, among other topics.
Industry Collaboration
The FIEC acts as an important resource on equity investing in microfinance, for both members and the industry. It collaborates with members and other microfinance participants on industry initiatives and on projects that further the development and dissemination of best practices.
